Citizens of Georgia who have turned 18 before January 1, 2017 are eligible to enter the contest. Interested candidates should upload the following files via africa.movla.ge :

1. A Blog post written in MS word (language Georgian; Font Sylfaen; Font Size 12; Line Spacing 1)

2. 3-6 related photos captured by them (Format jpg; Maximum size 15mb; Shot on any camera including smartphone) with 20 word descriptions telling the same story as the Blog post.

The story must be about environmental problems of Georgia and should be based on the candidate’s self-experience. Political blog posts won’t be discussed. Topics to be covered in Blog Post: Problems of Biodiversity and littering of the environment. Candidate is fully responsible for the uploaded Photos an d text. Candidate approves that uploaded Photos and text is not harassing and does not violate any law or infringe any rights of any third party and is owner of the photos and text. Photos and Blog posts can be used in advertising and for promotional purposes. The last day to submit the entry is December 13, 2016.

How do I enter the contest?

Interested candidates should upload a Blog post in Georgian language and 3-6 related photos captured by them with descriptions telling the same story as the Blog post. The story must be about environmental problems of Georgia and should be based on the candidate’s self-experience.

Who is eligible to enter?

How will the winners be selected?

Received blog posts together with the photos will be sent to National Geographic’s headquarter where 3 winners will be revealed.

What will be the prize?

3 winners will get a two-week trip to Kenya with National Geographic Georgia team.
